This is the third in my seven-part series in the Book of Revelation. In this episode we enter the visionary sequences of Revelation, which begin in ch. 4 and continue to the book’s conclusion in ch. 22. These visions are not organized chronologically but rather as a conical spiral that uses repetition of words, phrases, and scenes. Each scene narrates the undoing of evil and the salvation and healing of all things from different vantage points.
For those of you who are new to this series, each episode follows a three-part structure called the three “P”s: Prayer, Perspective, Pieces of Scripture.
